rear hatch Gremlin!!! &*%#
#1

Ever since I took my 968 out of winter storage, the rear hatch keeps popping open. It happens just as i start driving the car as well as when it is idling in the driveway and also while driving down the road. I can hear the latch mechanism set off, then the rear hatch opens up. In the 2 mile drive to work, I am stopping about 8 times to shut it!
I tried lengthening the bolts and adjusting the catching blocks as well as replacing all the fuses up front but nothing seems to help. It seems to me that it is an electrical phenomenon as it will do it both at rest and when the car is moving the mechanism fires and opens the hatch. This is supremely annoying!
Anyone have any ideas as to how i can fix this??

Could be that the switch by your left leg has gotten sticky from sitting and is randomly contacting as the car vibrates?
