Power Drivers Seat Stuck
#1

My driver's seat is not moving on the inboard track properly. The motor is fine but it seems to be in a bind on the inboard side, causing the seat not to adjust properly. Nothing seems to be wedged or caught in the track. Any suggestions about a repair without removing the seat?

Lubricant was what my seat needed when it wasn't sliding well. I had it out anyway, so the slide was easy to get to, but you might be able to get a WD-40 straw down there.

Another possibility is that the drive shaft has popped off one of the tracks. This has happened to the drivers seat and I have to reverse the direction to straighten the seat out and then pop the shaft back on the rail. The connector is supposed to have a retaining clip, but it's gone from the inside rail connector. Both side rails are powered separately, if one is disengaged the seat twists until it jams, reversing the seat direction should cause the seat to straighten out.
