Hi guys -
I need to get a power steering leak fixed. Its fairly substantial, putting a decent sized puddle on the garage floor. Its coming from the passenger side, not sure where though.....I wrecked my shoulder during the TSX speaker swap and I can't jack the thing up just yet.
Curious if I run the risk of fire or wrecking the PS pump if I drive it a long distance. I've driven it a short distance with the leak and the steering seemed to perform fine. Its getting eyeballed Wednesday anyway.

Yup, loose hose issue here too (twice!). Tighten.
What Flash said. Will leak all over and swell your a-arm / swaybar bushings. Only real fix then is replacement.
The PO let the PS fluid run for a long time all the way down that side of the car when I acquired it. Sad.

when you guys say bushings you're talking about the castor blocks, right?
I think mine may be damaged on the right side due to a leak. No stains on the pavement but plenty of old crud and goo from earlier in the car's life.

Hi guys -
Pump was bad, had a new one put in.
Not too worried about the bushings at this stage, as the M030 sways and new castor blocks will be put in shortly.
Best,
