Ok, so now I'm looking at some Borbet 964 Porsche Wheels (Turbo Cup Mille Miglia style) on e-bay - these are 17" 8(52 offset) and 9(47 offset). Say's they came off a 93 RS America (965.362.126.01) - alittle rough but I would paint the interiors black with silver rim to go with my black coupe - can get them for $918 shipped....thoughts

well, first off, those are NOT the wheels that came on the Cup car - the wheels that came on the Cup car were magnesium and said so in the casting

those are the optional 8" cast alloy "winter wheels" that were available for our car - please note the pinned thread at the top of this section

also, i would look closely at the differences between the borbet and the mille miglia - neither wheel look exactly like the OEM C2Turbo wheel that came on our car - not good or bad necessarily but if they differ from each other it could bug you - look for example at where the spoke meets the rim and note the radius - things like that

not a bad wheel for the car, but not what is being represented, and nearly full new price

Could be the photo but it looks like a lot of road rash on the rim as well, figure in the repaint cost.
