Porsche Factory Tour
#1

Just an FYI, I've set up my factory tour in Stuttgart in May. Went through the local Porsche Club. They have a form which you send to coordinators at the factory. Can't wait. Now I want to see if they can arrange a private mueseum tour.

I applied on-line through the PORSCHE website for the Factory Tour and received a reply a day later. They informed me that my 13 year old daughter would NOT be able to go on the tour because of insurance/liability issues.

So... I told them that I then only needed two tickets instead of four. I now have the two tickets (via email authorization) for the Factory Tour on the 15th of March!

I will be on the tour , and the wife will have to decide if she or our 17 year old daughter will be going to "sit" the 13 year old at the Museum for a couple of hours!

I first tried to book the Factory Tour through the local PORSCHE dealer (a sales person took down my facts), but when I browsed the PORSCHE website it became clear that it could be done on-line.

There seems to be so much to do in that area, that I can see myself returning there some day in the future again! There is local PCA member that has been there 7 times! Now that's taking it a bit far...
