My buddy wanted to see my new 968 so we figured we might as well make a morning of it. Got to stretch our legs on the backroads just south of Hwy. 50 near Folsom. Great drive and I was happy to keep up with my buddies 914-6 3.0. Usually he walks away from my 914-4 pretty easily. We found a great spot to take a picture:

Ya, he has done a great job on it...and I mean "he". Justin has performed almost all the work on his own including building the engine, first to a 2.7, then bought a 3.0 and completely rebuilt it. Added the flares, re-did most of the mechanical and he AX's the crap out of it. He is a car guy through and through. He also has a Chevelle and sand rail he does all the work on.
He is a great friend to have, I usually call him when I have a problem on my 914 and it sounds something like "The bolt holding the thingy next to the other bolt in front of the pipe broke, what does that do again?" and he usually has the correct answer

Ya I have auto crossed the 914, not the 968 yet, and I agree its a great way to figure out the limits of the cars. I don't do it much though because I feel like its hard on the cars and I always seem to break something making it an expensive hobby

My dad always thinks its amazing how well these cars handle at higher speeds. Even my 914 is the same. Things creak, lightly vibrate and meander somewhat until you get above 80 then its smooth sailing. A testament to Porsche engineering I guess.
