Porsche alarm removal, help please
#1

Merry Christmas

I have a PA1000 alarm that will not diss arm, so i am going to remove it once and for all, the problem is i dont know where to start, the alarm control box is located next the the engine ECU, and a additional box for the ultrasonics i think.

I have traced the wires as good as i can and three black wires go to the fuse box, one cuts the green and black wire into which i believe feeds the dme relay, however the third wire is connected to green and brown wire, no idea what that does.

When the alarm worked, it stopped the starter from turning and i think the fuel pump.

Any anyone out in 968 world removed one of these before?

Thanks

Simon

I do hate alarmsystems... too!

1 Do look good where everything is connected.

2 Have the electrical scheme of Porsche

3 Have patient......

4 Maybe the electric windows are connected to the alarm as well......

5 Do everything step by step.

The original alarmecu is located in the passenger footwell and is behind the wooden plate also located by the motronic.

Thanks for the input, working in the car trade, i know how lazy some technicians are, so thats why i have loads of un-used wire, i have found out who made the alarms for porsche and believe they can supply a new circuit board and keys for me.

Role on the new year
