New to me the 2nd time
#1

Hello folks,

Some might recall I had written a few times about our 968 that dear jr. "customized" last month. Well I decided to buy her back from the insurance, and so...

Before (when I bought it)

During #1 (the wonderful ditch at night)

During #2 (now back home again.)

After: (not yet)! Only one phase left: after we fix it up. Seems there is a lot we can do on our own, and then with support from some professional help, I think we'll get it back on the road. We used it as a driver, and so it wasn't perfect like those $20K versions we see. It'll have a salvage title, but no big deal since we plan to drive it, and if ever needed I can illustrate what the damage was. So I'll probably be asking lots of educational (re: dumb) questions in the tech section here. Thanks to everyone for all the support. Can't help it, these are great cars, just can't let this one go.

Good decision. Silver 968's should be preserved under all circumstances. I'm sure the smart people here on this forum (and me too) will help however we can.
