My old head unit is almost toast. Kind of like browned bread. I've removed the unit, and the rear 4x6 speakers. I found some Kicker 4x6 for a fair price, but I want to change out the ones in the door at the same time.
I have the door tool to pop out door panels. My wife has a Jeep Liberty, and I've already changed out all four electric motor assemblies because the design is terrible and should have been recalled but wasn't (OK minor rant over!)
The problem is if I screw up a Jeep door panel I can go get one, probably at the recyclers. Not so much with the 968. For those of you that have done it, can you share any tips or secrets to assure I don't screw this up?
