My report is simple: These pads are unlike anything I have tried on track. On every front, they simply outperform. And not just marginally, their performance is amazing even when compared to the leading race pads I have used in the past (Hawk, Pagid, etc).
I am running 285s rear Hoosier R6, 255s in the front, and then assisting gravity with a massive race splitter and a serious wing on the back with a diffuser to boot. With the Cobalts and MO30 setup, I can pretty much outbreak anything on track. I am sure this has been a big component in the 3 track records so far this year. I dont have the hard data as I came off the gates with all sorts of new aero and tire size changes, but I assure you they are a big part of the performance gains complementing the rest of the upgrades...
Also 2 DE days and 4 races later, the pads still look great. I may actually be able to go the rest of the season (6 races) with the same set!!
Thank you Pete! You da man! And yes... i think we need to go XR1 on rear....
