NEW LOWER SUSPENSION BRACE
#21

Good job Flash! I just got back from Atlanta, Ga. and saw your new brace. I am interested as well, depending on final cost. Let us know and good luck, Bob Blackwell.

that one will be entirely up to pete - i'm letting him handle all of the retail transactions and the specific decisions related to them - i know he's already set up to handle overseas transactions - i also know he's done that before - i would suggest you contact him directly

Wonder if there's any possibility of a group buy here in the States...

while i certainly applaud the idea, the reality is likely not until the second batch - there are that many orders already - if you wait to get a group buy together, as it usually takes a while, you will probably miss out on the first batch, and have to wait for the second, the timing of which will be determined by pre-orders

also, while this is entirely up to pete, there likely won't be much of a price break, as we priced it low to begin with - if one guy made the group purchase for all, you could potentially save some shipping and packaging cost though if you had a bunch of them sent to one place and picked it up from there (definition of group buy)

please contact him directly - he is handling the transactions - i wouldn't wait around though - he isn't going to keep a lot of these on the shelf

the first batch of strut tower braces will be a quantity of 20

the price is $239.95

the first batch of lower suspension braces will be a quantity of 10

the price is $169.95

delivery to pete in 2 weeks

we already have about that many "orders" for each item - this will be first come first served so contact pete at rs barn asap and give him your credit card info

Ok, so I've got too much free timeon my hands being without my car, but doesn't this piece look a lot like a KLA strut bar? I haven't measured but would it fit/work in this application?

lol - nope - not even close - but, i see how you got to that - this is a lot shorter, MUCH beefier, and has an assembly that ties both castor block bolts together - you can't just load one bolt - the shear load would snap it clean off in a very short time

the loads on the lower suspension are much higher in shock rate than they are at the tower, neccessitating a beefier unit - it took me quite a while to figure out something that would handle the load, be adjustable for preload and differences between cars, connect all of the castor block bolts, not require an alignment upon installation, and have the clearances of the header, the pan, and most importantly, the ground
