Yes Rhudeboy does indeed exist...even though I was beginning to think otherwise. Then one day to my surprise, my phone rang and he said he'd see me in 20 minutes! Speaking on not existing, "Johns968" aka John Gorski always is out of town, working, etc. much like David, but is a super nice guy who hasn't been to any events yet. I met his wife for the first time today (so I know she exists) and mentioned we were planning a couple of things for later this summer/fall and to set aside some time on the calendar. I need to check in with "happysails2you" Kathy to see if we're still on for a crab fun run and a 2nd annual November "Day at the Barn" would be awesome as well.
Now, back on topic...there's plenty of time to plan for this event and it'd be great to have a show within a show. It's a great area of the country and much like Jay and his wife, we've come to love Bucks County and hope to have more trips to that region. I will most likely drive the Cab, but I am also contemplating showing the 911 Targa, but it's probably just not quite ready for this caliber show. It's very nice but has a couple of things that I'd like to address to be on par with this particular event. It does hold it's own at lots of local stuff around here. Besides, the wife always convinces me to take the convertible since she gets more sun than the Targa......huh?
