Front Spoiler / Splitter available?
#1

Does anyone still sell a front Spoiler / Splitter for our cars?

Did Porsche sell a factory aftermarket Splitter at one time?

Or, does anyone have one that they just never got around to installing? (and never will!)

I am looking for one that would bolt on in place of the front lower 'Pan", which I have removed at present to do the timing/balance shaft/water pump "dance"... so might as well bolt on a replacement, if one is out there.

Any recommendations are appreciated!

The factory made one for the 968 Turbo cars and there are some aftermarket ones out there. There is a carbon fibre splitter on my car that I believe came from Kelly Moss Racing. See pictures on my photo album.

I may have found the answer...

ESS of the UK has a Splitter that fits between the stock bumper and the stock underpan, retaining the underpan, which Porsche thinks is a good thing!

A bit salty @ 185 pounds sterling, plus shipping... I will see if they have a US distributor (or would like one!)

Probably have $500 US into the whole thing and still have to paint it! Oh, well...it's only money!

I'm still open to suggestions ... I have a message in to Kelly Moss Motorsports...

I bought one from here and it is very strong and fits well. The only problem is that the outer edge on the sides hang over about 20mm.

Gert from Belgium got back to me immediately and he has two front "lips" or "splitters" if you prefer...

The Porsche Techart piece is actually the cheaper of the two and comes in 3 pieces and is made of the same material as the bumper cover, so it can take a few hits and survive... 325 Euro plus shipping

The other one is a one piece unit for 336 Euro plus shipping... So, they are available IF you want to pay for them! No idea how much for shipping from Belgium...round numbers...say... $500.00 all in? Got to want one fairly badly at that price! Guess I will keep watching eBay!
