I replaced mine in February.
It had started exhibiting "Gummy Starter Syndrome", though I hadn't discovered this forum yet at the time, so I replaced it vs. fixing it as described in another thread.
The shop I took it to quoted me $550 for a new strater plus 2 hrs labor to install.
I then found a rebuilt OE starter at Pelican for $140 (after a $40 CORE charge) and installed the thing while I had the car at RS Barn for a check-up.
Max replaced it in 5 minutes or less.
I didn't know about Sunset at the time either, and wonder if they would have been cheaper than Pelican.
