6 HOURS!!!
was he down the local bar for most of that, I did mine in an small lock up garage with no main lights and no lift, in just over 2 hours, both sides!
come to think about it I did the belts and rollers and water pump in just over 6 hours..........
Wow, if you're able to do that in such a short time, you might consider opening a shop ! Although I don't bother checking competitive prices on small jobs, I always benchmark big jobs ; so I called around and the cheapest estimate I received was from a local German auto repair place was $ 600, but not guaranteed it'd stay within 20% if bolts are rusted, things don't move out of the way that easily, etc, etc.. Porsche dealer wants $ 1,200 ( parts not included ) . So I just let it up to my mechanic figuring he might be pricier than the lowest shop around, but he's always done things to perfection...in spite of continuously cursing Porsche for their set-up design.
As for the belts, since you brought it up ..( and considering that my mechanic is really hesitant to do that job with the SC in the way..) A N/A engine belt job at the dealer is $ 2,500 ( not including parts - ). A SC engine belt job ; they did not even want to provide an advance estimate..
How much is it to ship my car to and from the UK ? Lol, that might end up cheaper for these jobs ..
On the power steering hose, I guess high-pressure hoses have a special construction so it's not " just a simple piece of rubber " and thus pricey..

Shipping charge is about $4000,
