Milky headlights
#1

It appears that there is a milky haze on the inside of my headlights. Does anyone else have a similar problem and is there a fix? Can you disassemble the headlamp and clean the interior glass and reflector? Thanks!

you can't really disassemble the headlight. you can remove the bulb, and get in there with a brush and a cleaning compound and remove some of the milkiness (be careful not to use anything that creates fumes, as this will only make the problem worse). it is a tedious job, with limited results. in the end, i just replaced them.

Hey Flash, do you have some kind of special brushes? I checked it out and it seems like building a ship in a bottle! LOL! No wonder you sprang for some new headlights. Too funny!

My lights have a slight haze to them also. It's not too bad yet so I'll leave them be. But I do have an extra set of headlights I acquired but never used if someone is interested.
