Help!!! Has anyone experienced this problem? I did do a search but found nothing. The headlights (both) on my '92 Coupe are stuck in the up position. It seems like they are stuck in mid cycle of the motors because I cannot push them down (as I have done in the past). The lights work and I can crank them down manually but they will not retract when turned off. I did clean all of the ground points this past winter. Could it be a defective headlight switch? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Carl

When I couldn't get my headlights to retract it was the relay that was the problem. I think I paid about $99. at sunset for the relay. I think it was at the G17, G18 location in the fuse box.
Good Luck!

Thanks Bart. I believe that the part no. is 944 618 205 00. It looks like two of the regular size relays together. Does that sound right to you?
