So my brother-in-law recently moved to Bullhead, AZ. Anyone know of a 968 shop in the area? I think Vegas is about an hour or so north, but perhaps someone knows of a shop in Kingman, or one of the communities nearby?

I have done a lot of real estate business in Kingman over the years but I would highly doubt that you will find a competent Porsche mechanic there. It's kinda more pick-em-up truck land.



Lake Havasu is a slight possibility because of the large number of California transplants.

I really don't know of any mechnics in that area, but you may want to contact the individual that Flash recommends for Porsche transmission rebuilds. I don't remember the guy's name, but did talk to him on the phone once when I was trying to diagnose a tranny problem in my car. He really was a nice guy and did know his stuff about transmissions. He apparently has quite a regional reputation for the work that he does on transmissions. I believe that he would have a grasp on all the P-car mechanics within a 100 mile radius of Havasu.....including Bullhead City.



I recommend that you send a PM to Flash and get the guys name and number. That is what I would do if I were trying to source a decent mechanic in that area.
