I am new to the area.  Any guidance from members in the San Jose CA area that have had good experiences with a local mechanic that has experience working on 968's, I would really appreciate a referral?

If they're still around, Ken's Sportech ( in Campbell ) would be the closest shop, of which I could think..

lol, I was trying to locate a shop in the area just a tad closer to Morgan Hill than Reno is       the next reliable 968 mechanic is in Mt View at Modderman Motors , and the next one after that about 15 miles further north which is my mechanic, at The Mechanic in Redwood City ( an outstanding mechanic , but not the most creative guy when it comes to naming businesses ..)

My mechanic in Reno used to have a shop in the Benecia area. I will be picking up my car tomorrow (new belts and rollers) and I will ask if he suggests someone in your area. He trained at PNA when they were located in Reno, so when he closed his shop in CA he relocated here, but he still goes over the hill to work on his old customers cars about once a month. As I recall, he uses a bay in a friend's shop in the Vallejo area.
