You could try Rennwerke Porsche in Elmsford New York. (about 40 min outside NYC). This guy really knows front end Porsche's. His website http://www.rennwerkeporschetechnicians.c...E_CARS.php

You still need a <acronym title='pre purchase inspection'>PPI</acronym>, there are two shops that know our cars well that probably would do an inspection one in LIC and one in New Hyde Park.

For future reference, I think you're referring to SM Motorsports? Great bunch of guys that worked on my previous p-car...no affiliation.
