Im looking for a good mechanic in the CNY area. I live halfway between Utica and Binghamton, with the closest Porsche dealership in Syracuse.
Im not opposed to driving a couple of hours as long as they will do a good job.

Im going to need a new oil pan gasket, and motor mounts shortly. I am capable of doing that work myself but would like to have a good safety net in case I come across any other issues.

Are you in Norwich? My wife's parents live in Utica and we drive up there on occassion, usually either Rt12 or Rt8. As a matter of fact- we're heading up there for Easter this weekend.

As for a mechanic, and you don't mind driving, I would strongly recommend RS Barn in Newtown, PA. From the Norwich area, you're looking at approx. 3.5 hours.

I actually live on Rt 8, but norwich is the closest town of size.
I had my car at RS Barn for the PPI, i might have to make another trip down there.
