Mechanic Help - Nashville, TN
#1

I am sure this is a long shot, but any 968ers that work on the car a good bit live in Nashville? I have a nagging engine cooling problem and could use some expertise... and I don't really have the money right now to take the car to a mechanic (big surprise).

Appreciate any help!

Thanks

Hi,

I wish I could say that I am a skilled, amateur, Porsche DIY wrencher, LOL, but unfortunately I can't. My areas of expertise are large scale IT business systems, music, and watches.

However, if you want to meet up for a few beers and some 968 conversation, <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/smile.gif" class="smilie" alt="" /> , I could be persuaded.

I've been waiting around to bring my 968 in to my mechanic for a few, minor deferred items, but seeing as how it still will be another 6 or 7 months before I'll have the spare cash, I'm just going to bite the bullet, bring it in, and pay for it with plastic.

Send me a PM.

Regards,

Rick

There are a bunch of good mechanics in Nashville. Wickie Lawry at RennTag Mtorwerks is mine. I have also heard good things about Matt Shaw and Andrew from Music City P&A. Also, I have a friend up there who is a 944 guru that does most anything you would need.
