You could send them to truechoice racing to have them rebuilt...

I second the Truechoice recommendation if you want to maintain the originality of the Konis. The M030 shocks are unobtanium...

Other options are Bilstein, Koni 3012s, Ledas, Ohlins, MOtons, etc. Flash has some other on his car he really likes.

I plan on going to KWs when and if I decide to go non-stock.

Do the M030 Koni shocks have replaceable cartridges, or do I have to send them off to be rebuilt? My rear shocks seem shot, and I'm wondering what my options are.

Thanks,
Rene

I would have original Konis rebuilt and put on shelf. Two reasons 1. The valving isn't the best 2. I've had a high failure rate on the rebuilds. The compression valving is very prone to sticking and any debris clogs the valve. Then they hydraulic lock at about 1 inch stroke.
I would install Bilstein Turbo Cup rear shock with dual springs
BTW the 968TS street car came with BTC shocks and struts!

I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!
