So I have been working with Arktech the racing team to take a sponsorship roll on the board. In doing so we would have special pricing on their entire line of 968 products. They have a new site which will be released soon. I am getting sent pictures of all of the products sometime in the next few days.
Here is my question who would be interested in a set of front 993 headlight fenders for the 968? What if they would cost under $1300 for the pair. Shipping has not been researched but I am thinking possibly another $300. They had these advertised on their web site for around $3000+
We have been talking about this mod for years... Now who is ready to pull the trigger.
Just the fenders...

I like the original lights. They provide excellent light output. I am not interested in spending several thousand dollars to replace them.
I have never heard a negative comment about the pop up lights. Many people (typically Porsche owners or admirers) have asked to see them operate.

EEZATOY Price list says $899
The reason I don't want a bunch of questions is that I don't have the answers yet. I am a pretty smart guy and I have a list of my own questions when it get's to that point they will all be answered. If there is not enough interest in a group buy Q&A are useless and just a waste of time. I am only guage the interest at a $1300-1500 starting point. I beleive they use the 993 Headling mounting hardware from my correspondance. So yes they are adjustable the 993 lights adjust either manually or self adjust (I think) this is from memory when I had a pair. You can also get HID lights from Porsche as they were an option on the 993.

Depends junk salvage yard or New. There is a brnad new set on ebay right now for $500. I bought all the parts at one point to do the mod. But ended up not doing it because I did not want to tear up the fender. I think I was into the hardware at $800 all new from Porsche. There are so many wrecked 993's out there that you probably could get the parts for less then half that price.

FWIW, just a view from the other side of the table...
I like my 968 to be ALL 968. I thought a K&N Filter was a huge modification. As time goes on and parts become harder to find I will probably use a program like RS Barn to upgrade mechanically.
But I love the way she looks just fine <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I'm in for the Mod. Personally, I'd like to eliminate the pop-ups and go fixed on my baby. Litronic makes it that much nicer. I hate to use the word but I "assume" someone will have the hardware and instrcuions for the headlamp install and all we have to do is purchase the fender and 993 headlights?
