Hi everyone.
I have’t been around here since before the world went dark. We recently moved and it gave me the impetus to get the 968 up and running again. It had been sitting, outdoors, for the last couple of years. Now it has a new starter, new tires, and some rat damage repaired. The top, being 10+ years old and baking in the sun, was shot. The back window was essentially opaque, making backing up an exercise in faith and luck. I cut out the window and glued in a 40 gauge clear vinyl sheet from Tap Plastics as a temporary fix. I’ve purchased a new top and have an appointment in a couple of months for installation. (As I recall, replacing the top is a job that even Flash farmed out!)
As I remember, we were discussing another West Coast Gathering when the pandemic reared its ugly head. It will be nice when we get to the place where we can do a WCG again without any covid reservations.

Hi Bill, welcome back!
I was just looking at a map and I think a 968 run in the Bodega Bay area in late September would be a blast. Anyone up for a road trip?
