How to reset radio?
#1

Ok, so after I solved my battery charging problems (loose alternator connectors/corroded connections) my radio was blinking the old "enter code" part. So I entered the code... too quickly. As a result I hit one wrong button and the wrong code was entered. Now it just stays blank with no display at all

How do I reset it to re-enter the correct code?

Hit the band selector butoon (AM?FM) for more than 2 seconds and the word "CODE" will appear

If that doesn't work, disconnect the battery for a few minutes and try again. sometimes this will "boot" the system and enable another try. Good luck, Bob Blackwell.

The holding the AM/FM button works like a champ, I wish I'd RTFM 2 months ago.
