- Can anyone direct me on how to troubleshoot why my radio (Panasonic Flip-screen) keeps cutting out ONLY when the radiator fan kicks in when the AC in on. It works fine with the AC off. Thanks <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/sad.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

if it kicks out, check the following:

is the radio direct connected to the battery?

Or when the fan kicks in the voltage drops down, so check, alternator and battery for their condition.

Voltage does not drop, new battery, maybe Alternator???.

Maybe a worn fan??, When it uses to much power, the voltage can drop, But dont use an digital but an analog voltmeter or better an oscilloscoop to check the voltage on the + from the radio. when the fan kicks in.
