Thanks for info, these are my two cluster in german , one from 44S2 and the original from my 68.

Even the trimmer works for one on the 944, on the 968 doesnt work.

I think you might have the Wash Fluid option when you have the washing installation for the headlamps????

 

I never seen this light popping up in my car, which has a manual gearbox so no Tiptronic light either.

 

Might be that you have the gauges of a 944 which didn't had those options either!!


Concerning the oil pressure, when you start the car a reading between 4 and 5 is normal.

I have test Washer fluid it's come when washfluid is low. Mine work on German 968, but the check engine process no , only US car might have Check engine on specs.

The engine light is only on USA cars

Looking at the two I still think you can swap the actual voltmeter over, the plastic parts are the same, the voltmeter is just a different design

Just have to pop the needle off and swap

In case anyone is still interested in this topic, my Miata has no voltage gauge, so I fitted one of these from Amazon on the fascia with velcro and plugged it into the 12 socket (cigarette lighter on the 968). These things are so cheap you can buy a few and, with a "proper" meter, decide which one is most accurate.
