I’m looking at buying a used 944 decklid with glass…4 hr. drive each way to pick it up. Does anyone know if the spare decklid will fit into the back of my 968? The decklid of the 968 should be the same size as the 944 and my tape measurements seem to indicate that it can be done if I angle the 944 deck lid while sliding it in sideways. Has anyone ever done this? The difference will be about $85 in gas if I take my gas hawg truck…plus missing the fun of driving the 968.
If you’ve ever tried fitting one in before, I’d sure like to know. Thanks!
Harvey
