Ok floor poured Thursday. 25 yards 12" thick 4000 psi. Next week pad and shakes start to go on outside. Stereo wire set up next week for both floors. Stairs to second floor coming. Anyone ever do the cables for banister look?

Rap, you wouldn't be building an atomic fallout shelter under there by any chance, with the garage as an after thought? 12" thick! Barnes Wallis would struggle breaching that!

I thought that was a lot, too... I was thinking my last garage, a 3-bay structure, was only 4" thick? I could be wrong.



I've never done the cables look, but I sure do like it, especially with stainless steel. I saw one that used filled copper pipe, too that was really nice, polished and lacquered or somehow coated to retain it's appearance.

The guy I bought my 968 sells concrete. My contractor has built our last two buildings and is over speccing everything. You should see the number of trusses so no pole is necessary! From another post discussion isn't more better? Andy you guessed it! Lol what in gods name is Barnes Wallis? And don't tell me I said I understand you! Huge error! They use 8" on the turnpike.
