HELP cruise control diagnostics
#1

Are there any diagnostic flow charts for the cruise control unit? The unit never worked and out of the clear It started to work for a few min. However I have not been able to get it to work again. Checked fuses, cold solder joints in the module, cleaned the contacts in the servo unit, brake lights, still no results.

Any help is appreciated, I hate not having any solid reference material, I've had my head under the dash so long I'm deformed...

The 944 service manuals have a step by step procedure on how to troubleshoot the cruise system by checking various ground and power pins at the wiring harness for the module. If you can locate someone with the manuals it would definitely help in your situation.
