Headlights won't go down
#1

When I turn my main headlights on, everything's fine, but when I turn them off, they don't go down right away. It varies, sometimes twenty minutes later, sometimes the next morning.

Any suggestions? What to look at? I looked for a relay in the relay box, couldn't find one. Any clues?

Mine used to do this - I did as Flash said, but buy a couple of small tins then you can get your hand in the tight(ish) space you have to play in when the lamp is tilted. I emptied a whole tin each side, periodically working the lamps to move things about (you can just push them down carefully as long as the switch is in the down position). It was a bit fiddly but a very easy fix - hope all yours needs is a good lubing.

I found the headlight issue to be a problem when my battery was low...

Charged it up (and eventually replaced it with an Optima) and the headlight issue went completely away...

Just my experience...
