Head Lights
#1

I just had my car in the bodyshop and the front bumper was removed. The first time I turned my lights on, they would not go back down when I turned them off. This has happened before and it was a simple fix, but I can't figure out how to fix them. Any ideas?

since they are gravity fed once the release has been triggered, i would get some tri-flow (not WD-40) and lube up the mechanism, operating it manually a few times to get it worked in there

if that fails, then i would look at the adjustment alignment - there are instructions for that in the workshop manual

Well, my mechanic lubricated the mechanisms and checked for binding. They'll work most of the time, but will stay up 1 out 25 times. He has order a relay($161.41) which he thinks is the fix. Anyone got any ideas or know of a cheaper relay that will work?

bummer - there are a couple of relays that are pricey - obviously check the lower priced sources like sunset
