I had the Sparco Evos in my 944 turbo and liked them for a dual use seat. However, I did find them to be rather flexible on racetrack. I would prefer something stiffer next time. I am planning on getting a set of Kirkeys for the 968.
Attaching the Sparcos to a seat back brace would help the stiffness, but I'm pretty sure this is a no-no for the seat construction and FIA certification. I understand they are certified without seatback braces.
It's conundrums like these that make a dual use car such a difficult thing to execute correctly.
My favorite seat right now would be the Sparco Milano 2, but am not sure of their strength in a rear impact. I saw a set of SRDs get snapped backwards at the seat back at the Glen a number of years ago. Not the same seat, but a similar design...YMMV
