I had my shop order the exact part number for the bulb first. What came in wasn't the right part. So I soldered a dash bulb in.
Just thought I'd warn ya'all! <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I have the same problem. I posted on 968.net and did not get anyone with the same problem to join me. You will find that your fuse #11 is just fine unfortunately.
Glad to see I'm not the only one, so thanks for the therapy. <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/biggrin.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I wish it was that easy. I tried all possible permutations with various length pauses while hopping on one foot and tapping myself on the head with the other hand, to no avail.
Back to the original thread here and question for sasilverbullet.
My other problem with the outside temp gauge, since we are on the topic, is the fact that the display does not illuminate when the headlights are turned on. Was this your original issue that caused you to replace the bulb?

morton - all your questions were already answered! I've been soooo busy, hardly any time to check the board!

Thanks Michael. After exploring all my options, stopping short of dissecting the unit, I conclude that mine is faulty. All my fuses are fine.
RusTech...you must be in a bad mood. What's up?
