idle dipping and cold start problem fixed...
#1

It was the coil wire. The bad one ohm'd out at about 1.05K. The new one was 1.02K.

Car started right up and purred like a kitten this am. Also no dipping of the idle with the AC on!

Who'da thunk? <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/rolleyes.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

The difference between the two readings is not really significant. I think the act of R&R the wires had more to do with it. It burnished the contact in the socket giving better connection. Good deal any way you slice it.
