Yeah, I love the look from the back. Fortunately\unfortunately the only pictures that turned out really well were the ones from the rear.
What do you guys think of the white wheels? I'm not a big fan of them but everyone that sees the car thinks they look great.

Looks like a life validating drive with the top down through the scenery.

Nice car. Is that linen interior?
I love my 968 for what it is & don't hate it for what it isn't!

From my understanding its the light grey and black interior.

I'll post some tonight when I get home. I was a little weary about posting some of the ones from the side because in the pictures the door doesn't match the quarter panel even though in person it does match. Not sure if its the lighting or what.

As requested here is a picture from the side to see the white wheels. Please comment on them. I honestly do not like them, but the wife does and so does everyone else I've asked.

Is the lip/outer edge still silver? Hard to tell in the photo.
I've pondered (more than once) about doing a set of stock wheels in white and think they look good on a white car, but white wheels on other color cars seems more suited to a dedicated track car to me. Same with any color wheels as an accent. If they are "body matched" they seem to be not as pretentious. That said, I like the silver accents the stock wheels provide but I'm not a big fan of chrome wheels either.
Good looking car just the same...hope to see you at some east coast events someday!

The outter edge is brushed.
I am trying to decide on replacement wheels for it. I like twists but want to stick with 17's, I like 993 cup wheels but am not sure if they are different enough looking. Anyone have any suggestions?

Do you mean the "turbo twists" like on the Boxster? They are 17". I've seen some 968s with the 993 wheels and they look good...you're right - not too different - but just different enough while being period correct.

Sorry, I mean Turbo twists.
I would like to go with the 18" Sport Design wheels and have had the opportunity to get them for fairly cheap but being how NJ roads are I'm sure they wouldn't last long.

Thanks smokiemon, I appreciate the offer but I'm not a fan of the boxster twists.
Though I have yet to see them on a white cab...anyone have pictures?

[quote name='smokiemon968' post='58852' date='Sep 3 2008, 09:29 AM']I am not a fan either.
I found these 18" RH's the other day. I know you wanted 17"s, but these are priced right.
If I did not have so many wheels laying around I may have picked them up.

I really like those, I'm still worried about running 18's though. After reading all the posts I don't want to have a harsh ride and bending wheels and messing up sidewalls isn't fun. We have a 2003 Jaguar S-Type R with 18's and we've replaced the front tires once a year since we had the car because of pot holes and such. Not fun. And at $275 per tire its not cheap either.
Would anyone stop talking to me on the forum if I got the 17" twists from RH? What is the weight difference between the RH 17's and OEM 18's ? I tried a quick search but nothing jumped out at me.

Now I'm really confused. I was looking on the RH website at the fitment guide and they don't list anything in the 17" for the 968. Only 18x8 and 18x10. Then I looked up the 951 to see if they listed something different and they show 18x8.5 in the front and 19x8.5 in the rear...
