It's a "new" belt, in that it has never been run, but it's had been sitting motionless, under full tension, from late April to last night (finally rotated the engine by hand last night). Cloud, I don't think I would replace it at this time, my car sits a full 7 months a year and I don't worry about it. That being said, because mine and I think yours see a lot of track use, I don't' wait for mileage, but change both belts every two years, period. Heat and chemical attack are polymer killers, UV also, just not in this case. We'll see though how it goes this winter, as now I have the DS1 super charger and it looks more challenging to change the belts. I wonder if the SC belt needs a more frequent change also?
