New belly pans aren't too pricey
#1

If you are missing one of the under-engine protector / pans, and want to get one, price for new isn't that bad. I just checked with sunset because I don't want to cut up my only metal plate in order to fit around the newly installed D1R lower brace.

Metal piece that fits under oil pan and back:

951 504 069 00 is $141

Black plastic/ fiberglass one between metal piece and 'batwing (front apron)'

944 504 167 00 is $82

I meant to add that, as you may or may not know, these plates serve additional performance-enhancing functions, and are not just for collecting all your oil leaks into one convenient puddle on the garage floor! ;0)

One of the most important for performance is control of airflow through the front of the car.

This has been described in a number of other threads you can search.

Also there was a forum member poll in the last year that showed quite a few of us are missing one or more of these underneath panels

Our of sight, out of mind I suppose...
