I have a small dent about the size of a dime right on the crease on the drivers side front fender: I could download a photo if necessary - can a good PDR guy take care of something like this? I'd be up for making the 4 hour drive just to meet some of you in person. I need to re-do my rocker moldings with new rubber gaskets. I have a bag of new clips - more than needed - would be willing to give away what I don't need to anyone who is looking for some. Anyone done this before?

Yes, PDR should be able to take care of that...rocker moldings are on my list of things to do as well, although it has slipped a little on the priority list! That'd be a great thing to tackle that day and we can use Jeff's DIY as a guide.

For those a little farther away who are contemplating the drive, there are plenty of new hotels all within a half mile or so of my place. Not sure how many rooms we'd have to secure for a group rate, but I'd certainly be willing to look into it. If we do this on the 6th, I don't mind if some come on the Sat the 5th as well...I'm planning on attending a show with the 356 folks at nearby Reston Town Center from 10a to 3p and there are plenty of things to do around the area. Just waiting on hearing back from my dent guy.

...and that's exactly what my dent guy just asked.

I just got off the phone with him...he's not sure if he'll be in town that weekend....SO......let's make it official....

Saturday Sept 19th is the day. Confirmed PDR guy on site...price TBD but he's very good and he'll cut us a little break based on volume. He's usually 125 per panel give or take. Confirmed cold brews. Confirmed lift availability. Confirmed clean towels and all chemicals restocked. BYOBG (Bring Your Own Bikini Girl) although I'm not above putting an ad on Craigslist!

E-Mail me (or post here) with a wish list so we can get an idea of who's looking to do what.

OK, Flash, let's work on the webcam hookup!

Actually, I'm only 45 min or so from "downtown" Baltimore...depending upon time of day and traffic patterns...it is indeed a little over an hour to PorscheDude's place, but he is a little north of B'more. I'm am about 3 miles from Dulles Airport in Sterling, VA.

Darryl

I can make the 19th.

This PDR guy Darryl is talking about is amazing. He did some work on my car that Darryl and I can attest to, but won't admit to

I'm starting a new job on the 8th, and not sure if they will send me somewhere that weekend but so far I look open.

looking forward to seeing a parking lot full of 968's

yup, cant please everybody.

Darryl is a great guy. Sent me the shop manual on CD when I first joined this forum because I couldn't DL the PDF. He has since sent me a few PMs to help me through a few things here and there. He Just invited me up anytime as the date didint work out. Cant say it enough, this a great board with great people. I think even if I become a millionaire and got a Lambo I would still follow this board. Ok, that's probably not true but its how I feel NOW.
