dual mass flywheel
#1

I'm replacing my clutch after a dramatic failure of the friction disk.

How much rotational movement would you expect on a DMF when you try and push it with normal finger pressure?

TIA

I happen to have mine out at the moment (I'm planning on replacing it with a single-mass). Are you saying you can get the two pieces of your DMF to move against each other just from finger pressure? I'll check mine when I get home tonight, and let you know if I can do the same (I didn't think this was possible on a healthy DMF, but I could be dead wrong about this).

I need to look at our notes

While in car holding/jamming flywheel gear , and putting torque wrench on pressure plate bolts we could get 10-15mm rotation on dmf with new-good and 25-35mm on expired dmf

How much torque did you apply for that?
