I have Sparco seats in my car, but they aren't evo, they do fit. I think the issue is getting the right brackets that will fit as I don't think the stock one's will.

I have Sparco Evo L in my car. Mounted with Sparco aluminum brackets on Recaro slides (although drivers side seat is now bolted to the floor to get the seat lower).

If you can find out how much wider the XL is than the L I'll measure for you to check if it will fit.

rl968 - thank you - everyone is so helpful on this forum.

firefish - I'll give Sparco a call tomorrow & post the info. But now I know at least a 'L' will fit in these. I was planning to bolt to floor as well. Did you just use the side rails for the drivers seat attachment?

I have a Velo XL seat in my car (but it is RH drive) and it fits, but the upper shoulder bolster just rubs on the door and the front of the seat can rub on the handbrake. I could lose weight (like my wife keeps telling me), but I have been told it is easier to remove the passenger seat to shed weight out of the car.
