Bought July '05 with 103K...just rolled over 120K, so 17K in a little over four years but seasonal driving only and I'd say 2/3 of the miles were in the first couple of years as the miles have slowed significantly with the addition(s) to the fold.

Mine is a toy, and gets driven between 3 and 4K kms per year, I drive it more than the 993, though, mostly because I like to drive top down. Convenience of company car, rush hour driving, family needs makes for most of the annual miles done in the X5..

I've driven 8000 Kms (5000 miles) in 18 months.

Mine is a daily driver, but commuting to work takes 10 minutes.

Bought in 1998 with 90,000 km (56,000 miles) and now at 205,000 km (128,000 miles). Used as a DD for 4 years doing about 20K km a year and since then used as fun car for weekends etc (on average 5K km a year).
