I recently purchased a sweet 94 coupe that apparently ran into a couple of curb stops along the way. The lower bumper cover (chin) needs to be reattached to the car. I noticed that the outboard attachment points require mounting to the fender skirts. Whatever was there is now gone.
Do I need to run out and purchase new fender skirts to hold up my bumper cover.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply. It is the lower black plastic piece I was referring to. Your description helps. In the area towards the back between the bumper cover and the radiator support it looked like there was some fastening to the inner fender skirt going on. It looked a little chewed up and I was wondering if pieces of the skirt was missing.
I have a new black plastic piece coming so it maybe more obvious once a intact piece shows up.
So I interpret you're saying, to the best of your recollection, no attachments goes on between the cover and the fender skirt. Correct?
If so I might be missing some mounting points on the bumper cover itself.
Anybody repair these things? It looks great from the top side but a little beat up on the very bottom.
Thanks
