Since I purchased my '94 968 cab a couple months ago, I haven't been able to find the source of an annoying dashboard rattle that occurs when the car is driven over the sharper bumps. It sound like it is coming from around the instrument cluster area, so I removed the trim ring and checked to see if anything was amiss...found no loose anything, and I secured some cables just to be certain. I've looked underneath the dash and found nothing loose, in fact I'm amazed at how tight all the stuff is under there. Any ideas about where to look? Should I remove the instrument cluster...anything there to look at? This is driving me nuts!

HA! Flash, thanks for the advice. The sound is almost like a box of loose coins or marbles inside the dash. Really preplexing. Any way to test to see if it is just the whole dash? Where did you run the weather stripping? Sounds like this is a "feature" common to these cars, eh?
