Ever since I bought my cab I have had rattle noises when going over rough streets.
They seem to be coming from behind the heater vent control section where the fans and heater box are.
When I installed my new steering wheel I had a look and felt around and could not find anything loose.
I pulled the radio out and the cubby when I put Dave's 3 hole panel in and could not find anything that was rattling around in there either.
When I pulled out the glove box all seemed ok in there as well.
I did find that a movable plastic vane in the heater/HVAC section, that directs heat down to the passenger side floor, was rattling when moved. It is VERY tough to get at.
Has anyone else had anything like this that would help me in identifying the source?
It is getting so annoying, that I am willing to pull apart just about anything to fix it permanently.
