I have to agree - the cab brace was the single best thing I did for my car's handling so far.

tomorrow is the deadline. no orders will be accepted after tomorrow. when i get up friday morning, i'll finalize my order first thing with the bender, and then that's it.

a part of me is going to be very happy to be done with these. they have been a huge pain in the butt at almost every step of the way.

Who says you'll be done with them after tomorrow? There could be all types of warranty issues to come... and if you're really lucky - maybe a class action lawsuit is in your future. All it takes it one unlucky guy at a track day and a hungry lawyer.

lol - not a chance. i have been very careful not to call these "rollbars", and in fact to say that they are not rollbars. they are chassis braces. that strictly limits any liability.

just as a point of history, and this happened long before we took over the site, and the previous owner did it, the one and only person ever to be banned from this site, was banned specifically because they kept harassing me and insisting that i test this item as a rollbar. lol - we offered to drop his car off a building and test it, but he never stepped up.

while it is designed to meet or exceed all pca and scca roll bar specs, it has never been tested, is not certified, and therefore cannot be called a rollbar, or any expectations of the performance of a rollbar be implied.

I was just joking around ... but I understand your concern given our litigation obsessed culture of blame. Sorry to bring up a soar topic.

lol - no worries - i figured as much, but not taking any chances on that one. you just never know who will read something, and take it wrong.

liability is something i take very seriously. that is exactly why i am not doing the brake upgrade project. the liability insurance is insane. anybody who sells brake parts in this litigious environment is nuts.

Probably a back or leg brace after Bob gets finished with you! Might as well ask him for it in a custom colour as well, he likes that.
