Hi all:

Are there any special tricks to flushing the cooling system? I just did my Boxster, and want to do the 968 also. I am going to fill it with Zerex G-05. I think it may have some plain jane Prestone in it now. Did the factory have any special procedures? I basically filled the Boxster a few times, got the thermostat open each time, and drained it afterwards. Then, I filled it with 50-50 G-05 and distilled water, and bled it. I had to change the tank on the Boxster, and I think the G-05 is better on plastic.

Pretty well the same procedure just remember to turn the thermostat up high in the car to flush those bubbles out as well.
