Convertible top cover
#1

Guys,

My office will be moving in the next month or so. Our new location is void of any covered parking. I am looking for a top cover that will protect my interior and rear window while it's parked in out in the open all day. I know I can get a full car cover but they are a pain and not overly good on the paint. I have seen covers for Miatas and others that cover the roof down to the bottom of the windows (front, rear, and sides). Does anyone know if one of these is made for our cars? If not, I know I can get one made but I wanted to see if it already existed before I reinvent the wheel. My dash is perfect and so is my rear window and I would like to keep it that way <img src="/forum/images/smilies/968/wink.gif" class="smilie" alt="" />

I have one -- but i can't remember where I got it from...

But to be honest, its a PITA to use: You lift the wipers and tuck in one side. Then you open the trunk and tuck in the other side. Then wrap one side to passenger side door. Finally wrap other side to driver side door. It requires almost as much effort as a full cover....

I've been thinking about this also. Came across this "Interior Car Cover": http://www.automotion.com/productpage.aspx...erior+Car+Cover

Looks like it would do the job ...

I have it...I love it...not much else to say! It keeps the interior much cooler too.

Of course, this has to be used with the top down...I have never seen anything to cover just the roof while the top is up. I take it you may want something to cover just the top part of the car with the top up to protect the rear window. Sorry, can't help you there.
