<{POST_SNAPBACK}><!--quotec-->The head unit for the HVAC has little arms that activate the different paths for the air to flow. The common problem is the clips on the end of the linkage break and the arms still move, but the linkage doesn't. If you take the small cover off the under side of the head unit, you can see the "works". I would start by watching the unit work while you are move the settings on the head unit. This may help you spot a problem.
Hope this helps.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I just want to make sure I follow you. The head unit has two sliders, one to direct the flow of air to your feet and another to direct the flow to the central vents. When I slide these arms across their range I can feel the airflow increasing either at my feet or in my face from the central vent, but never from the side vents. So, are you saying that one of these sliders (I assume the top one) is responsible for directing airflow to the side vents as well as the central vent?
I remember back when I had a 924 the side vents only blew cold air while the central and under dash vents would blow heated air. Is this different in the 968?
